Impact of Pakistani Rulers

The Leader

Then Sheikh Mujib was arrested. The 75 million of Bangles   rose as one man against the evil designs of Ayub government. A tremendous mass movement  started  demanding the release of Sheikh Mujib. At last, the powerful dictator had to submit to the awful Majesty of the people and abdicate in favor of  General Yahya  Khan.

Inspired with good intentions or not Yahya Khan held General Election in Pakistan. The Awami league won a sweeping victory in the election and therefore, had the legal right to form the government. Mr. Bhutto suddenly changed color and stood  as stumbling block in the smooth transfer of power to the Awami League, the Majority party of the country. The ruling junta started started  dialogue with the Sheikh and his party leaders. But cover with negotiation and  settlement, they hatched a conspiracy to wipe out Bangladeshi nationalism once for all.
Delivering Speech the Leader
On the night of March 25,1971, pak Armi cracked down upon the unarmed and innocent people of Bangladesh. They killed the Bangladeshi like cats and dogs, burnt their house, looted their property , damaged their crops and raped their womenfolk.
But no bullet could subdue the indomitable spirit of Bangladeshi nationalism. Urged by a desire to rescue motherland from the occupation of the enemy, the valiant youths formed Mukti Bahini who kept the Pak hordes always terrorized. Meanwhile the government of Bangladesh was formed at Mujibnagar and necessary guidance was given from there. When the Pak Armi realised that they would not able to cope with the formidable Mukti-Bahini, they attacked India.
